April 2026

The clock is ticking, and the opportunity to be part of something truly impactful is quickly slipping away.

You can still register for one of the upcoming kickoff events of the World’s Largest Diaper Drive™, a movement founded by Bottoms Up and rapidly becoming one of the most ambitious efforts in the nation to address diaper need—and this year’s launch is set to be unforgettable.

Headlining the kickoff events is Maurice Clarett, former Ohio State standout and national champion, whose personal story of resilience, redemption, and purpose has inspired audiences far beyond the football field. His appearance brings added urgency and star power to a campaign focused on a deeply serious issue: millions of families across the Ohio struggle to afford enough clean diapers to keep their babies healthy, safe, and thriving.

The kickoff events will bring together business owners, community champions, faith organizations, and volunteers who are ready to take action. These events are designed to energize participants, provide clarity on how to get involved, and raise needed funding to move the needle on diaper need at a massive scale.

But none of this happens without people stepping up—and that’s why I hope you’ll register today!

Diaper need is a silent crisis. Unlike food assistance, there is no government program that helps families access diapers, leaving parents forced to make impossible choices between basic necessities. The World’s Largest Diaper Drive™ exists to change that reality through coordinated, community‑powered action. The kickoff events mark the moment when intention turns into impact.

Maurice Clarett’s participation underscores the heart of the mission. Known not only for his athletic achievements but also for his advocacy around mental health and second chances, Clarett brings an authentic voice to the conversation about overcoming adversity and creating pathways for families to succeed. His message aligns powerfully with the Bottoms Up’s goal: removing one of the most common barriers that keeps parents from work, children from childcare, and families from stability.

Attendees of the kickoff events will hear directly from Clarett, connect with fellow change‑makers, and have the opportunity to support this incredible effort. The energy of the kickoff is designed to be catalytic—participants often leave with a renewed sense of purpose and a clear plan of action.

Waiting too long to register could mean missing out on the chance to be present at the very start of this effort. Those who attend the kickoff events are often the leaders who shape how the campaign unfolds in their communities. From setting ambitious collection goals to mobilizing volunteers and donors, kickoff participants play a crucial role in determining the reach and success of the drive.

There’s also something uniquely powerful about being in the room at the beginning. The kickoff sets the tone, builds momentum, and unites people around a shared mission. It’s where relationships are formed, ideas are sparked, and financial support is solidified.

As the events draw closer, the message is clear: don’t wait. If you care about children, families, and community impact, this is your moment to step in. Whether you’re a longtime supporter of Bottoms Up or someone newly learning about the issue, the kickoff events are designed to welcome, educate, and inspire action at every level.

The World’s Largest Diaper Drive™ is more than a campaign—it’s a statement that communities can come together to solve real problems when given the opportunity and the leadership. With Maurice Clarett helping to launch this year’s effort, the kickoff events promise to be a meaningful and motivating start to what could be a record‑breaking year of impact.

Registration won’t stay open forever. The need is urgent, the mission is clear, and the countdown has begun. Now is the time to secure your place, show up, and be part of a movement that ensures every baby has the clean diapers they need to thrive.

If you’ve been thinking about getting involved, consider this your call to action—before time runs out.

EAGLE SCOUT IN ACTION!

THANK YOU to Mark Botos from Bishop Watterson High School! Mark held a diaper drive for his Eagle Scout Project and collected 2,351 diapers for families in need in central Ohio!

Tim and Jo were honored to share the mission of Bottoms Up at St. Patrick Church during Donut Sunday in March.

If your church or community group is looking for a speaker, we would love the opportunity to share how Bottoms Up changes lives—one family, one act of support, and one story of hope at a time.
