BUTLER FAMILY DIRECTORY

Each year, The Butler PTO compiles a voluntary Family Directory. This Family Directory is password protected, and used only by and for Butler families for personal connection.  Teachers are not able to share student contact information, so this is a great resource to get in touch with other parents, plan play dates, etc. The more participation, the easier for all.

FALL BOOK FAIR | OCTOBER 2 - 6

The Book Fair is here!! It will run from Monday, Oct. 2 through Friday, Oct. 6. Online sales began Friday, Sept. 29.

Book Fair flyers were sent home last week. These flyers provide just a sampling of the books available at the book fair. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that all books will be available for the whole fair. Book Fair purchases can be made with cash, credit card (must be the credit card itself, not only the numbers – parent signature required for transaction), checks made payable to Butler PTO, or eWallet.

• Sign up now for eWallet here!! REMEMBER - eWallet is now like a gift card and all funds stay on the eWallet and can be used at the next fair or at the online book fair.  Each student needs their own eWallet account.
• Teachers are setting up their own eWallets to help build classroom libraries! Make sure to use their link to add funds to their eWallets using the link they provide you. 
• We have a few critical volunteer needs.  Please sign up for these spots here.

If you would prefer to shop at home with your child, or the book your child wants is out of stock, you can shop at our online book fair, running Friday, Sept. 29 to Oct. 12 here.

Bring your chairs or a blanket, your dinner, and join the Butler community for a FREE evening of music and fun on the Butler playground during our 2023 Butler Bash featuring DJ Rockin Dave!

Click here to purchase pizza ($12) which will be available for distribution at the event. Deadline to order pizza is October 3. Pizza will not be available for purchase the night of the event.

**Reminder, there is no pumpkin decorating at this event.**

Please note, this is family event (i.e. not a drop off event). Please keep an eye on your children so we can be sure to keep everyone safe during this event. We expect positive Butler Bear behavior throughout the evening.

GET INVOLVED

CAN YOU CONTRIBUTE TO HELP WITH EVENT COSTS?

PTO events and activities would not be available without our volunteers and the financial contribution by the Butler families. In support of our efforts, we are asking for a $15 contribution per household (Butler Family) as the means to offset the expenses for organizing and holding the events.

For those who wish, you can sponsor another Butler family’s $15 contribution. Payment is preferred through MyPaymentsPlus or submit a check with this form.

*Please check with your company to see if they offer a “Donor Match” program. In some cases, companies will match your contribution, so your $15 becomes $30! Below is a list of some companies that had a corporate match program in the past. Be sure to ask, as some companies require you donate a certain amount of money before they will match. Companies: Ally Financial Inc., Bank of America, Carter’s Inc., Charles River, Citigroup, Clemens Family Corporation, Comcast, Coca Cola Company, Endo International, First Weber Group, Glaxo Smith Kline, Harsco Corporation, Highmark, IBM, IQVIA, Johnson & Johnson, Kinder Morgan Inc., Life Scan, Merck & Co., Prudential Financial Inc.,Target, and United Health Group Incorporated, and many more.

TEACHER AND STAFF FAVORITE THINGS

Parents are often interested in knowing what teachers and staff members like or enjoy. View a list here of our staff members favorite things. This is a good reference for gifts as well as every day little surprises! 

This list includes teachers, administrators, custodial staff, support staff, specialists and itinerants. This is completely voluntary and will remain open all year if you are looking for the inside scoop.

All volunteer opportunities are subject to change based on District guidelines. We ask that you please refrain from cell phone usage during your volunteer shift. Unfortunately, younger siblings are no longer permitted to accompany volunteers.
