Success Story

Success Story: Confidence, Courage, and Community Shine at the ‘Just As I Am’ Fashion Show

Our 9th Annual Just As I Am Fashion Show was a night to remember! With more than 125 attendees, we raised $45,000 to support inclusive education and therapy services. The runway was filled with confidence and joy as each model celebrated their individuality, reminding us all of the power of acceptance and community. https://www.salisburypost.com/2025/09/09/partners-in-learning-fashion-show-is-time-to-celebrate/

PIL Professional Tip of the Month

Learning Patterns at Home:

Learning patterns isn’t just for the classroom—it’s something parents can easily weave into everyday routines at home! Children naturally notice and enjoy repetition, rhythm, and order, and these simple experiences help build early math and problem-solving skills. Try pointing out patterns in clothing (“blue, red, blue, red”), creating clapping or movement sequences, or arranging snack foods in repeating shapes or colors. You can even find patterns in nature during a walk—like leaves, flower petals, or steps on the sidewalk. By turning ordinary moments into playful learning opportunities, you’re helping your child strengthen critical thinking, memory, and attention—all while having fun together!
