Nassan's Place was excited and thankful to honor New Jersey Congressman Donald M. Payne Jr. during our "10 Year Anniversary Celebration & Annual Community Appreciation Gala" held on September 29, 2022, for his continued support and commitment over the last ten years of helping Nassan's Place to enrich and make a difference in the lives of children and families affected by Autism in and around under-served inner-city communities.
Due to his efforts in Congress he was able to secure a $750,000 grant to be used towards our new state of the art Autism center. The grant moves us closer towards our $2.1 million dollar goal.

In 2019, Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka saw the significant impact that Nassan's Place was having on helping children and families affected by Autism and gifted us with a building.
Our goal is to build a state-of-the-art Autism Center that would provide educational and recreational programs, support and social services, advocacy and more all year round for children and families living in and around under-served communities.
With your support thousands of children and families for years to come living with an Autism diagnosis will have a place in their community that they can call their very own.
