Dear Friends and Supporters

We are thrilled to share that our long-awaited vision for a visual and performing arts center in San Mateo County is one step closer to reality! After more than five years of planning, community engagement, and invaluable input from supporters like you, we are excited to announce the first phase of Center for Creativity (CfC): a vibrant, two-year temporary proof-of-concept space located at Hotel Sequoia in downtown Redwood City. To bring this vision to life, we need your support and funding to make it happen!

With the CfC occupying this space in Spring 2025, the historic site will open its doors to the public for the first time in 50 years. For the next two years, Hotel Sequoia will serve as a dynamic hub for art and economic development, breathing new life into the creative spirit of our community. We envision this space as a sanctuary where artists, performers, and community members can come together to inspire and collaborate. Lastly, it will demonstrate strong demand for the CfC, as we continue to identify a location for a permanent home.

Your support is essential in making this vision a reality!
