A Season of Momentum:

Big Moments Across DCF This Spring

It has been an incredibly busy and inspiring spring season at Deschutes Children’s Foundation, and we wanted to share a few meaningful moments our supporters may have missed along the way.

Ripples 2026 Raised Over $300,000!

This year’s Ripples Gala was a tremendous success, raising more than $300,000 in support of DCF’s mission to provide the space and support where nonprofits succeed at helping children and families thrive.

From our generous sponsors and auction donors to every guest who attended, bid, volunteered, and gave. Thank you for helping create lasting impact across Central Oregon. Together, we continue sustaining the spaces where vital services are delivered every single day.

Representative Janelle Bynum Visits DCF's East Bend Campus!

This spring, we were honored to welcome Janelle Bynum to DCF’s East Bend Campus.

Representative Bynum hosted a thoughtful roundtable discussion with several DCF nonprofit partners to better understand the challenges local organizations and families are currently facing.

These conversations are incredibly important in helping community leaders and policymakers better understand the realities local children, families, and nonprofits are facing every day. Creating space for open dialogue and collaboration strengthens our collective ability to respond to community needs and support long-term solutions across Central Oregon.

We are grateful to amplify our partners' voices and the families they serve, and to highlight the importance of collaborative community spaces like DCF.

Community for Kids Held at Becky Johnson Community Center!

In April, during Child Abuse Prevention Month, our partners at KIDS Center and MountainStar Family Relief Nursery hosted thier annual Community for Kids event for the very first time at DCF’s Becky Johnson Community Center Campus in Redmond.

The event brought together families, nonprofits, and community members for a meaningful day focused on child abuse prevention, awareness, education, and family connection. We were honored to see the Redmond campus activated in such a powerful way and proud to support events that strengthen children and families throughout our region.
