Bloom Senior Living Moves Beyond COVID-19 --
More Than 50% Of Its Communities Will Be Fully Vaccinated This Week!

Bloom Senior Living, a family-owned and operated company for over 50-years with Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care communities in South Carolina, Ohio, Louisiana, Florida and Indiana, takes a pivotal step towards ending COVID-19 this week by fully vaccinating most of its community!
All of Bloom's South Carolina communities, Bloom at Belfair, Bloom at Bluffton and Bloom at Hilton Head, Ohio community, Bloom at Lakewood, and Florida community, Bloom at St. Petersburg, will be receiving its second dose of the highly effective COVID-19 vaccine! Thus, five of Bloom's nine communities, or more than 50%, will be fully vaccinated by next Sunday. Additionally, Bloom's Indiana community, Bloom at German Church, will be receiving its first dose. Bloom Owners and Corporate Directors will be on-site in South Carolina, Ohio and Indiana this week to celebrate the important milestone!
As Bloom reported earlier this week, Bloom communities have not only relaxed restrictions and safely reopened for group activities, community dining, outside visitation from family and friends (inside visitation where permitted) and tours, along with so much more, but its residents are back to enjoying life again at Bloom with peace of mind! There are zero resident cases of COVID-19 in the company's nine communities!
Bloom's Director of Operations told our Bloomers one month ago that "it's time for our residents to once again hug their grandchildren. It's time for our residents and families to gather for special occasions. It's time for our associates to come to work and feel 100% safe. And it's time for all the little things we do at Bloom every day to make our residents' and associates' lives so special resume in full swing." That commentary is now a reality again at Bloom!
Bloom's extensive protocols, testing, social distancing and mask wearing worked to keep our infection rates low over the past ten months, but the highly effective vaccine provided our Bloom Warriors -- fighting heroically for our residents -- with the most effective tool to deliver the final blow they've been waiting for!
While Bloom will continue following certain protocols to keep its residents safe, COVID-19 is out! Bloom residents flourishing while living life to their fullest potential, consistent with Bloom's aspirational mission, is in! It's an exciting time to be, or become, a Bloom resident as the community emerges from this virus stronger and closer than ever.
