Nari Boutique Nepal – Women’s Day Preview

On International Women’s Day, you’ll get to meet Aarati Bhogati and see what she’s doing as she prepares to leave the safe home.

But today, here’s a sneak peek. Aarati is now in college studying business. To grow her skills and apply them to a business context, she leads Nari Boutique Nepal, which creates and sells artwork, jewelry, and other items that they sell to support their own advancement in college and beyond.

Before this, Aarati spent the last ten years of her childhood in the Women’s Protection Center. Her father died in 2008, and at that time, her family lost all their income. She had nowhere to go, and her mother couldn’t provide.

The safe home was her only good option.

And now, she’s entering adulthood and has big dreams, with Nari Boutique Nepal just the beginning.

You’ll get to hear more from Aarati and other young women on International Women’s Day.
