CONSULT YOUR AGREEMENT FOR THE AUTO RENEWAL CLAUSE
We know some commercial practitioners committed to other research platforms before Catylist was able to get up and running in the St. Louis region. We get it, we understand. No problem!

However, now that some of you are nearing the one year mark, we are issuing a friendly reminder to review the auto renewal clause in your existing agreement (e.g., requiring 60/90/etc. days). Most likely, your contract has a requirement to issue advance notice to cancel. We don’t want anyone to miss out on this important window of opportunity to switch to Catylist!

Thank you to those that completed the Commercial Data Listing & Research Survey we recently administered. We received lots of great information. In the coming days, we’ll be analyzing the feedback which will be invaluable in helping us chart a course for the future of Catylist in the St. Louis region.

CATLYLIST IN THE MIX FOR NAR COMMERCIAL LISTING PLATFORM
In the wake of Xcelligent’s abrupt bankruptcy last December, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) developed a Presidential Advisory Group (PAG) which made several recommendations...one of which was to identify a national commercial listing platform to partner with for the purpose of delivering a service for members that is cost-effective and a high-quality solution for marketing listings nationally.

A total of 14 companies submitted proposals to NAR's RFP for a commercial data listing platform. Companies were evaluated using consistent criteria and from this evaluation six companies emerged as possible partners.  This number was further narrowed down to three companies – Catylist, CREXi and Brevitas.  Currently, a diverse group of commercial practitioners are reviewing the three semi-finalist listing platforms. Vendor Finalists will be at the NAR Conference in Boston on November 3 to demo platforms and answer questions for commercial attendees.

All members in attendance are invited to view demos and test platforms. Click here for the commercial practitioners conference schedule. Based on all criteria and assessments, a selection will be made and an agreement will be negotiated by late December. Stay tuned!
