Pet of the Month: Krieger

Hi Fur-Get Me Not Family,,

Where did January go? As we continue to dig ourselves out of snowcrete, here is what’s happening at Fur-Get Me Not!

We have lots of enrichment for your dog to enjoy. But what is enrichment exactly? Checkout our new blog post to find out.

We are expanding our enrichment School on Tuesdays to allow more dogs to enjoy a day filled with activities to engage their minds and senses. More details below. Enrichment Camps are a great way for your dog to add enrichment to their day in structured daycare, keep scrolling for this month’s schedule.

Friendship and playtime is very enriching. We are celebrating your dogs and their besties with our Be Mine Party on Friday the 13th. Scroll for all the details on a special art project, a spa discount to get spruced up, and a way to share treats with all your friends.

Lastly, see our Presidents’ Day hours below and meet our February Pet of the Month: Krieger.

Daycare Weekly Recap 1/16

Enrichment School is Expanding!

At Fur-Get Me Not, we don’t believe in a "one size fits all" approach. We’ve listened to our students and observed how different personalities interact. To ensure every dog feels safe, confident, and engaged, we are launching:

  • The "Second Classroom" (Tuesdays): We’re opening a second group during peak school hours to "mix and match" students based on size and play style. If your dog prefers dogs of similar size or a more high-octane group to feel comfortable, we now have the flexibility to give them exactly that!
  • Enrichment "Crossover" Days: We’re merging the best of School and Camp on Tuesdays and Thursdays! Expect more social variety, new friends, and diverse activities designed by our behavior experts.

If your dog tried or you considered Enrichment School before, but felt the group dynamic wasn't quite right for your pup, now is the perfect time to come back.

Krieger ⧒

February Pet Of the Month

Krieger is a male German Shepherd who just turned 5 years old! Krieger has used our daycare, boarding and training services since 2021.

Words to live by: "Ball is Life!"

Favorite thing about our team? All the love shown for Krieger.

Favorite dog friend? Nacho (black-and-tan Basenji who doesn't attend daycare...)

Unique quirk? His German Shepherd head tilt and always wanting to join a conversation.

If your dog could talk, what would they say? That he loves all the love, snuggles, and scratches he gets from the crew but especially Mary. Thanks for not making him go down the stairs when it's time for a pee break.

Why did you choose our service? Great reviews and close proximity initially. Since joining, we love how friendly and helpful everyone is.

Anything else you would like to share? We greatly appreciate how attentive the staff are and quickly report any issues with Krieger. Thanks to the Fur-Get Me Not staff, we were alerted to a wound on Krieger's rear end where he had gnawed a spot raw and almost to bleeding.
