Dear Friends,

This year marks 20 years that Lower East Side Printshop has called 306 West 37th Street home. This summer, we’re planning to give our 24/7 Community Printshop a much needed refresh! Please consider making a contribution to our studio and equipment fund today.

The Community Printshop is used by around 100 artists each year! While our Community Printshop is at the heart of all we do, studio rental fees make up only a tiny fraction of LESP’s revenue. This is by design! We keep rates affordable and offer residencies by relying on the generosity of those who share our values and want to live in a city where artists can make exciting new work.

This summer, we're investing in impactful upgrades for the LESP community. We’re adding new, energy efficient lighting, repainting, reorganizing to make the shop more comfortable for artists to use, and giving the whole space an overall refresh. Additionally, we’re replacing the sink in the etching room and updating our security system. The results will be a brighter, safer, cleaner, more efficient space to work and create!

A tax-deductible contribution of any amount will help make these upgrades happen! And everyone who contributes will be invited to celebrate our studio improvements at a special anniversary party this fall.
