SVHS Auditorium Renovation Update
The Penn-Delco Board of Directors have been working closely with MM Architects to finalize plans for the last construction project at Sun Valley. After multiple bids, it has become clear that the Auditorium project will have to be revisited. Learn more from Dr. Steinhoff at our new Penn-Delco Prime video edition.
A message regarding the Coronavirus
This week the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) alerted Americans to begin to prepare for the spread of the Coronavirus in the United States. They noted there were many unknowns about how it may spread and how serious it may be. They did advise communities to begin preparing for possible disruptions to every day life. The Penn-Delco School Board and Administration continues to monitor the situation as it changes daily. Spring Sports: time to get outside
It's time to get ready for our spring athletic season at Sun Valley and Northley. Baseball, Lacrosse, Softball, Tennis and Track and Field Teams will be holding tryouts. Section 7/PIAA forms will be due and all athletes require physicals. For complete information about the spring season and what you need to participate, go to the Athletics Section of our website.
Speaker Series continues March 10
The Penn-Delco Speaker Series continues with our third presentation addressing stress and anxiety in our children and young adults by Dr. Michael Nakkula Graduate School of Education, University of Pennsylvania. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 10.

First annual Ted Talk a success
Five Sun Valley students prepared and presented the first ever Ted Talk series on January 31. Learn about how this new tradition was born and who walked away with a scholarship.
Pennell needs you to help celebrate it's 50th
Pennell Elementary is planning it's big 50th anniversary celebration. They are in need of memorabilia from the last 50 years from alumni. Graduates of Pennell are also invited to be a part of their career day for current students on the morning of April 3. All are welcome to celebrate the anniversary the afternoon of April 3. Online Kindergarten registration begins March 30th
It's time! Initial registration for Kindergarten in Penn-Delco will now be completed online. Registration will open at 9:00AM on Monday, March 30, 2020 for parents of Parkside students only. Registration for all other elementary schools will open at 9:00AM Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

Once your child's online registration is completed, a kindergarten screening will be scheduled for a later date and held at your child's school. More information about how to register and documents needed will be posted mid-March at and on your elementary school website.

Third place overall 2019-2020 District Tournament
Congratulations to the Ches-Mont American League Champions! The Wrestling team also placed third in District competition with seven wrestlers headed to regional competition this weekend. We are #PennDelcoProud of not only our wrestlers but Coach Ellis who was named Coach of the Year!
