Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
Watching TV and praying the obvious for Israel to defeat Hamas is vital. However, it's only part of the Bigger Picture. In the same way that the Lord already sees us believers as His Bride, and we, one by one, are called to cleanse to be ready, as were those 5 virgins in Matthew 25:1-13, you and I are blessed when we seek the "Bigger Picture;" when we add to our prayers the Wisdom of Holy Scripture as to Who God Is.
Faith instead of fear then builds! We begin to look at eternity as well as the present. Among many possible Scriptures, join me in looking first at Genesis 3:14-15: " 14 So the LORD GOD said to the serpent: 'Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; on your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life. 15And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise His heel."
And then these Scriptures, from Ephesians 2:14- 22:
14 For He Himself is our peace and our bond of unity. He who made both groups—[Jews and Gentiles]—into one body and broke down the barrier, the dividing wall [of spiritual antagonism between us], 15 by abolishing in His [own crucified] flesh the hostility caused by the Law with its commandments contained in ordinances [which He satisfied]; so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thereby establishing peace. 16 And [that He] might reconcile them both [Jew and Gentile, united] in one body to God through the cross, thereby putting to death the hostility [enmity]. 17 And He came and preached the good news of peace to you [Gentiles] who were far away, and peace to those [Jews] who were near. 18 For it is through Him that we both have a [direct] way of approach in one Spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens [outsiders without rights of citizenship], but you are fellow citizens with the saints (God’s people), and are [members] of God’s household, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the [chief] Cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole structure is joined together, and it continues [to increase] growing into a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, set apart, and sacred to the presence of the Lord]. 22 In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit."
If we go back to Genesis, the snake is islam and all other pagan/human mindsets. The Seed of the woman is Yeshua/ Messiah, Jesus the Christ, the last Adam. The woman is the world-wide eccelesia, the Body, the Bride of Christ. And the ENMITY, created among the seed of the demonic snake and the Seed of the Woman, has been abolished in the crucified flesh of Yeshua/Jesus.
One last Scripture, Romans 8:18-26 in the amplified version is helpful: " 18 For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us! 19 For [even the whole] creation [all nature] waits eagerly for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration and futility, not willingly [because of some intentional fault on its part], but by the will of Him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will also be freed from its bondage to decay [and gain entrance] into the glorious freedom of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation has been moaning together as in the pains of childbirth until now. 23 And not only this, but we too, who have the first fruits of the Spirit [a joyful indication of the blessings to come], even we groan inwardly, as we wait eagerly for [the sign of] our adoption as sons—the redemption and transformation of our body [at the resurrection]. 24 For in this hope we were saved [by faith]. But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he already sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait eagerly for it with patience and composure.26 In the same way the Spirit [comes to us and] helps us in our weakness. We do not know what prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should, but the Spirit Himself [knows our need and at the right time] intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groanings too deep for words."
Spend time with the Lord, now present in you and me as our Holy Spirit Teacher, and ask Him to reveal more of Himself to you in your dreams, in His Word, however He may please. Repent, and pursue purity in Him (1 John 3.3). Ask Him, in His shalom, having already taken away the enmity and defeated pagan, humanistic mindsets such as islam, how to pray for the current conflict in the Middle East. May MANY, even in the midst of these wars, awake to the Kingdom Yeshua/Jesus first preached in Matthew 4:17: "Repent, the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
