You may have heard we have a small group at Raffa for young, single and pregnant moms. The group is called Embrace Grace. At Raffa, we encourage young women to choose LIFE and teach them about God’s unconditional love and grace. We want the church to be the first place a young woman runs to instead of the last because of shame and guilt.
I wanted to write to you today because we have our Embrace Grace Baby Shower on Saturday, April 8th at 3:30pm. We will be honoring 8 young women who bravely chose life and blessing their babies with tons of brand new baby items these young moms will need. We want to invite you to join families from across Hunt County to shower and love on these young moms and babies!
Would you be interested in partnering with us by “adopting” a young mom at the shower and purchasing items from her gift list yourself or finding friends/coworkers/ bible study group to help you?
We have over 400 items to purchase!!
All items purchased from the list will be delivered straight to Raffa where our volunteers will receive them and wrap them and have them ready to go at the baby shower. We also have a limited number of seats available at the baby shower for those that purchase items from the gift list. These seats are first come, first serve and we only have 50 seats open to the public. If you purchase an item to support one of these brave girls and want to attend this unique event, you can register by RSVP here.
We also need your help providing lunch for our brave girls and food for the baby shower (we are expecting 150 people!). If you can help provide items for that, we have created a meal train you can sign up for and all details are provided at this link.
