He agrees that there can never be too many embellishments on a tile. He admires the way she never hesitates to go over the top with adornment on her tangled compositions too. She loves the frills, decoration, and awesomeness that you can add to tangles. She proudly takes the time to support a tangle that wants to take center stage. She embraces embellishments like perfs, auras, fringe, dots, and weighting. Here at Zentangle, we often refer to this stage in your practice as "adding love" to your tile. Bijou and Julie agree that embellishments are certainly full of love.
While we love and see the value in the simplicity of tangles, we encourage all of you to relish the embellish too. Do not hesitate to add a little rounding here or an extra aura there. Perhaps redefine a line or ink in a space to create contrast. Enjoy the embellishments, the extras and the love.
