Welcome to Day 09 of Bijou's Be Well Bundle video series!

At the core of the Zentangle Method is the No Mistakes philosophy.

Bijou wants us to know that "No Mistakes" does not mean that we are not allowed to make mistakes or that mis strokes do not happen. "No Mistakes" is about what we do and how we respond after the so-called "mistake" happens.

When you approach your work with openness and welcome all parts of your creative process, you start to understand the “mistakes” purpose and role in the bigger picture. If you believe that each stroke of your pen or mark of your pencil plays a role in all the marks that follow you start to see them differently.

Where you once saw a mistake, you now see opportunity and potential. When mis strokes happen on your tile, Bijou encourages you to pause and then embrace this new opportunity that is in front of you. You learn to trust the creative process and embrace the humanness that makes it special. You can start to embrace how this new perspective allows you to focus on the present and then pushes you forward to the next step. Once you implement the “No Mistakes” philosophy in your artistic process, you might just start to see and feel it trickling into other parts of your life.
