It's almost election time in Fort Collins! By March 18 all registered voters (register here ) will be mailed their ballots, which need to be returned by 7 p.m. on April 2 to the City Clerk.

All voters will be electing a new mayor, and voters in Districts 2, 4 and 6 will be electing representatives. In addition to electing representatives, voters are usually presented with ballot issues, such as Charter amendments, financial issues, or initiated or referred ordinances or resolutions.

As your local bicycling nonprofit, Bike Fort Collins feels informed voters are an important mechanism to support safe enjoyable roads for ALL cyclists in our community. Each election year there are candidates for both local offices and local ballot measures that could have some impact upon our bicycling environment. With the objective of educating voters on local candidates views towards bicycling, we’ve sent a short questionnaire to this years candidates.

Volunteer members will help plan upcoming fundraisers and rides, including Tour de Pie, Pace Adventures, Halloween costume ride and much more!

It's pi(e) day! Join Bike Fort Collins and Ginger and Baker for a casual, no-drop 9 mile ride in the shape of a pie slice and enjoy free pie samples post-ride courtesy of Ginger and Baker. We will be meeting at 5:30 p.m. outside G&B for a 6 p.m. roll-out.

We will also have a kids-ride for this event! A short ~3 mile (almost 3.14 exactly!) ride to Soft Gold Park and back will roll out around 5:45 p.m. for those interested. A certified cycling instructor will be leading this ride.

Bike Fort Collins' monthly Bike Club meet-up is for Fort Collins cyclists to get together, have great beer and hopefully plan some future rides! Let’s talk about your latest bike obsession, a great ride you just went on, how to make cycling better in FoCo, any ideas you have for future events and whatever else is on your bike crazed mind.
