ROLLING THROUGH RED RIVER MÉTIS HISTORY

Meet at the “Scenic Walkway” in Lagimodiere-Gaboury Park

Rolling Through Red River Métis History explores Métis heritage through Winnipeg landmarks connecting waterways, community, resilience, shared stories, and reconciliation. Guided by Richard Charpentier, this Group Ride is FREE and open to everyone with no sign-up required. Meet us at the “Scenic Walkway” in Lagimodiere-Gaboury Park where the Red & Seine Rivers meet. This is a Bike Tour - Bring Your Own Bike!

KIDICAL MASS

Meet at Vimy Ridge Park

Come join Bike Winnipeg for the 4th annual Kidical Mass ride. This looped ride will begin at Vimy Ridge Park and take us down Wolseley, over the Omands Park bridge, along Wellington Crescent, across the Maryland Bridge and back down Westminister to return to Vimy Ridge Park. We will meet at 1:00 pm for some bike decorating and start to ride at 1:30 pm.

The ride will be family and of course kid friendly and will move at whatever pace the kids set, and a snack wil be provided at the end of the ride. Let’s make Kidical Mass a Winnipeg tradition!

Join us at your local YMCA-YWCA for a Bike Party! Complete with free bike tune ups, bike decorating, bike activities for folks of all ages, and refreshments and goodies! Everyone is welcome, you do NOT need to be a YMCA member to come join in the fun. Please bring your bike, or try out one of the limited bikes and helmets we have available onsite.
