BIKE TO LIBRARY DAY

This Saturday, May 10 at Redwood Shores Branch Library, join us for Bike Rodeo, a Bike to the Library event, a fun celebration of bicycling and other active ways of getting around town.

Bike Rodeo: Kids can build skills and confidence by participating in the Safe Moves City experience, designed to simulate the diverse traffic environments in a large city and create problem-solving experiences for every age group. Children are encouraged to bring their own bikes and helmets, however; loaners will be also available on site.

Bike Blender: Work together to blend up healthy and delicious smoothies using a bicycled-powered blender.

Bay Area BikeMobile: The BikeMobile will be providing free tune ups and repairs. The BikeMobile can fix flat tires, adjust brakes and gears, and even replace broken or worn out parts like chains, seats, and tires. First come, first serve. Space is limited.

Event Schedule

  • 11am-2pm: Bike Rodeo, Bike Blender, Community Partner Resources, Bay Area BikeMobile, Games
  • 12:00pm-12:30pm: Outdoor Storytime
  • 1:30pm-2pm: Drawing
