Message from the Director
All -

It's an action-packed summer here at the Conservancy! We literally have events and programs for nearly every age and nearly every interest... as long as you enjoy fun, enriching, outdoor, conservation-centered, wholesome and family-minded activities! Take a moment to scroll through all we have to offer. I'm sure you'll find something you'll love!

In addition to these great events and programs, the Conservancy has been actively working to bring you the next best things in Conservation. We have been working with our local and county officials to develop the Perkiomen Creek Water Trail. We have also been working with local and regional water experts to create a watershed-wide Water Quality Monitoring Program that will utilize your talents as local citizen scientists. And... we've been working with local municipalities to tackle some pretty tough issues in storm water management.

Stay tuned... we're planning to unveil some pretty neat projects in the coming months! I hope you'll be a part of the future of conservation in the Perkiomen Valley.

Green Lane Park to ABC Collegeville

Join us for the three best things about the Perkiomen... the Perkiomen Creek, the Perkiomen Trail and the Perkiomen Porter!

Begin your 13-mile Perk to Pub Bicycle Adventure at  Green Lane Park  in upper Montgomery County. Follow the Perkiomen Trail over the beautiful Unami Creek and past the Philadelphia Folk Fest. Cross the old railroad bridge high above the Perkiomen, then switch into your lowest gear for the climb over Spring Mount. Roll on up to  Perkiomen Bicycles  in Schwenksville for a cool drink. Finally, coast past East Branch Creek and into Collegeville for a pub party at  Appalachian Brewing Company!

What could be better than bikes, buds, and brews along the Perkiomen Creek on a hot summer Saturday?!

Not a biker but still want to get involved? Lend a helping hand to make the third annual Perk to Pub a huge success! All volunteers win a free brew at ABC!!

Our next workday will be on July 18 th from 1 pm – 4 pm at the Conservancy (1 Skippack Pike Schwenskville) where we will be weeding and mulching the bioswale next to our office parking lot. If you are interested in volunteering, please email our Conservationist, Beth Myers.
