Nuestra dulce y querida Ama Delvett ha fallecido (de cáncer). Era una amiga querida y campeona de Disciplina Positiva del Centro de Sanación de Sobrevivientes y la Agencia de Servicios Familiares. Ella era una fuerza para el bien trabajando incansablemente como defensora de poner fin al abuso sexual infantil.
La suya es una luz brillante duradera cuyo impacto, defensa y acción serán recordados para siempre. Descansa en Poder, dulce Ama, te extrañaremos profundamente. Votemos con ella en mente.

Este grupo de aprendizaje y apoyo virtual de 4 semanas le brindará todo, desde cómo abordar y mitigar los desafíos del aprendizaje a distancia con amabilidad y firmeza al mismo tiempo, obtener estrategias de aliento y aprender a ganar cooperación con sus hijos de 6 a 12 años.

Estamos en un mes importante para todos. En unos días, el pueblo de Estados Unidos elegirá al presidente para los próximos 4 años. También elegiremos miembros del congreso, supervisores de nuestro Condado he otros representantes. Sin importar quienes serán elegidos, queremos recordarles que todos son valorados en nuestra comunidad sin importar sus preferencias politicas y valores. Lo que nos hace mejor son las diferencias entre nosotros y el respeto que nos brindamos uno al otro.

El crear relaciones respetuosas es una de las fundaciones de PDRC. Nuestros hijos e hijas aprenden el respeto al nosotros incluirlos y valorarlos desde pequeños. Al sentirse valorados e incluidos les ayudan a respetar a todos en un futuro. Cuando nos respetamos unos a los otros, creamos un mundo mejor. Tenga paciencia, compasión y amor por todos en su vida. Con amor todo es posible.

Our sweet dear Ama Delvett has passed away (from cancer). She was a dear friend and Positive Discipline champion from the Survivors Healing Center and Family Service Agency. She was a force for good working tirelessly as an advocate for ending child sexual abuse.
Hers is a lasting bright light whose impact, advocacy and action will forever be remembered. Rest in Power sweet Ama you will be most profoundly missed. Vote with her in mind.

This bi-weekly virtual parenting class series will include mutually respectful tools and skills to strengthen your relationships with the teens in your life (for young adults ages 13-18+). This is our second session for the fall. To benefit from this class we ask that you attend all 4 sessions.

PDRC believes in equality and respect for all members of our community.

We are in an important month for everyone. In a few days, the people of the United States will elect the president for the next 4 years. We will also elect members of Congress, Supervisors for our County, and other representatives. Regardless of who will be elected, we want to remind you that everyone is valued in our community regardless of their political preferences and values. What makes us better are the differences between us and the respect we give each other.

Creating respectful relationships is one of the foundations of PDRC. Our sons and daughters learn respect as we include and value them from a young age. By feeling valued and included, it helps them to respect everyone in the future. When we respect each other, we create a better world. Have patience, compassion, and love for everyone in your life.
