Livonia Community Theatre readies two shows for the winter season

Livonia Community Theatre will present two productions this winter! A holiday fantasy and a charming, quirky musical are the offerings.

The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus, a readers’ theatre show by L. Frank Baum and adapted by Terie Spencer, will be performed at various Livonia   locations in December. Auditions will take place on October 20.

Don’t Hug Me, a musical about love and karaoke, written by Phil and Paul Olson and produced by arrangement with Concord Theatricals, will be performed February 3-4 and 10-11 at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 27475 Five Mile Road, (south entrance). Auditions will take place on November 17.

Livonia Community Theatre was founded in 2011 and is a non-profit organization whose mission is to offer quality theater experiences that will entertain, enrich and educate people of all ages in Livonia and the Detroit metro area through a regular theatrical season and annual youth summer workshops. In addition to onstage roles, teen and adult volunteers are welcome in all aspects of production, regardless of experience.
