Another Livonia tradition
The Holiday Parade
Livonia youth had a great time
Rain or shine you can count on smiles as crowds lined the streets and participants weathered the rain and sleet. But what is a Christmas Parade without families and neighbors having a good time?
These pictures showcase how the young people came out to be a part of the holiday parade.
Mayor Maureen Miller Brosnan, and thanks for posting these pictures on your Facebook Page, spent the time before the parade meeting and thanking the participants for being a part of what is becoming a Livonia tradition.
Councilmembers Rob Donovic, Scott Bahr, and Brandon McCullough along with Kacie McCullough met up with Mayor Brosnan, Santa and Mrs. Claus. Thanks Brandon for the picture.
State Representative Laurie Pohutsky was on-site walking with volunteers wanting to be a part of this holiday tradition.

Veronica Cruz: Thank you so much! I feel lucky to work for such a great organization that has supported me and allowed me to give back to such a wonderful community!
Brandon McCullough: Thank you! We have a great city with the best people, it makes it easy to be an elected official.
Mike Ladwig: President, Livonia Rotary AM Club: Our city of Livonia has a rich and proud history of service clubs that support and enhance our community. They are the crown jewels of our city. The Kiwanis Early Risers, Livonia Lions Club, Goodfellas, Jaycees, noon Rotary, and The AM Rotary Club of Livonia just to name a few.
So, to have Friday Musings name The AM Rotary Club of Livonia "service club of the year" is only enhanced by the quality of our fellow service clubs vying for the award. Although we are small in number, our club is mighty in our resolve to make our community a better place for all Livonians to live, work, learn, worship, and have fun. And each of our members brings their unique talents to our club that is blended together for the common good. On behalf of all the members of our club, I humbly accept this award.
Margaret Kusisto: Congratulations Dan MacIver! Well deserved!
Laura Toy: Much congratulations to three wonderful wonderful wonderful people!
Steve Spreitzer: wanted to thank you for a very impressive edition of Friday Musings (with the best of Livonia). Musings put so much into this issue.
Sister Nancy Marie Jamroz: Thanks for posting the Madonna University Homecoming clip. Nice to see happy Livonia moments!!!

Add Livonia's Fine Art Gallery to your
"to do" list in December
|
The current exhibit at the Fine Arts Gallery in the Bennett Civic Center Library features the photography of Tim Haber. During the month of December, you are invited to visit the Fine Arts Gallery and enjoy this art as you stroll through the holiday season in Livonia.
Tim Haber enjoys exploring compositions in nature and life. Light, shadows, colors, and reflections that catch his eye, playful juxtapositions and contrasts that can be something fun or something sobering, something to tell a story. He tries to express what he sees through his mind’s eye.
