Felician Sisters Chapel reopens to public in time for Easter Services

After two years and much prayer, the Felician Sisters are happy to be opening their chapel doors, again, for others in the community to attend daily Mass.

All are welcome to join the Sisters beginning Sunday, April 10, 2022. Guests are encouraged to wear a mask for the Sisters' safety as well as for their own. See below for the Holy Week Mass schedule.

Take a Seedlings Braille Books

for Children Virtual Tour.

Over the past two years, this typewriter has missed the Tour of Seedlings Braille Books for Children. It was one of the highlights of the annual events that I look forward to.

I mean they would even invite me to be a greeter/host. I loved meeting new people and hearing of the amazement that so many new friends of Seedlings expressed.

Now everyone is invited to watch this wonderful video tour of Seedlings' facility. Learn about their history, see the production in action and learn more about how they create braille books to help children with vision loss.

Livonia Kiwanis Early Risers seeking to raise support for community projects

Through the end of April our Livonia Kiwanis Early Risers will be collecting gently worn, used, and new shoes. Donations can be dropped off at the Livonia Chamber of Commerce, Five Mile and Farmington.

Watch: State of the Union response

Livonia will have a new member of Congress in the coming year, with a primary election in August and general election in November. FridayMusings feels that we should get to know the incumbent Member of Congress, Rashida Tliab.

Koleszar took time this past weekend to canvas door to door in Livonia, showcasing the kind of retail politics that Livonia appreciates.

He describes the experience in his own words, "As a northeastern Plymouth Twp resident, Livonia has been a part of my community and I’m excited that it will now also be a part of our new district.
