6:45 and the day was over for this volunteer. It was so much fun mingling with Mike Ladwig, Gina who worked the putting contest before the event got underway.
Oh yes, and chatting up Robin Whitfield as she pulled up in her brand new Mustang Mach 4. Of course, she was sharing how fuel-efficient it was being all-electric.
Every time this typewriter turned around there were more smiles, hugs, and handshakes. Oh and sun, for most of the day. Just a brief rain shower otherwise.
As golfers came off the course they were treated to pizza. I am telling you, it was one great pizza. Well, several great pizzas served up by happy waitstaff from the Tin Cup.
Enjoying the entire day was the chair of the event, Charlie Mahoney. As much time and talent, she invests in making this event a success has to stand as a remarkable blending of business, service organizations, lovers of culture, and is able to put together all these partnerships in support of her hometown symphony.
Charlie just makes it happen.
