Corn roast: thumbs up
Gary, Livonia's self-described common man, has designated the Good Old Fashioned Neighborhood Corn Roast as a Thumbs Up hometown event.

We agree Gary. But thanks for the vote of confidence.

Mark Branton agrees "A big thank you goes out to Bill Joyner ( Mr. Friday Musings) to have the Michigan Treasure Hunters set up and display our finds once again and the Rotary Club of Livonia for all the drinks, the Lions for the corn and Jim Jolly for bringing the Kona Ice truck and all the clubs and organizations that were present!"

Livonia Youth Choir Auditions
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2021 AT 5:30 – 6:30 PM
AUDITIONS 2021 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Livonia.

Livonia Youth Choir is for children in second through eighth grade. They are a non-profit organization preparing children for high school programs, including CAPA.

They hold two concerts per year and offer some special events. Rehearsals are on Monday nights from late September through early May.

If your child loves to sing, Livonia Youth Choir is the perfect place for them to learn and grow. Added bonus: they make new friends and have lots of fun!

Livonia Fire & Rescue is having their annual Fire Prevention Week Open House on Saturday, Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire Station #3. That station is located at
35000 Seven Mile Road.

Come on by and have a look at what they do. Learn some fire safety messages and make some memories!
Livonia Fire would like everyone to feel comfortable and safe during this event. They ask that everyone who wishes to attend follow Wayne County COVID guidelines.

Wonderful fellowship event with the annual Rotary Club Steak & Lobster dinner! Where at? Rotary Park of course.

Livonia sure has benefited from a strong service club foundation. The Rotary Club is at the top of the list providing service to our hometown.

The Rotary Noon Club, featured above is partnering with the Rotary AM Club, yes we have two clubs in Livonia, to sponsor what is becoming an annual event. The Spaghetti Dinner to help eradicate polio is to be held Thursday, October 21st at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church from 5:00 to 7:00.
