Award Varsity Letters to Livonia High School Figure Skating Team

This information is being shared as FridayMusings endorses the gathering momentum in Livonia for the awarding of Varsity Letters to our High School Figure Skating Team. We would hope that every candidate for School Board, incumbents and challengers, support this effort.

I did some research on the Livonia High School Figure Skating Team and I found out that they are part of the Michigan High School Skating series, which is a competitive and prestigious program for high school skaters in Michigan. They have been competing since 1999 and have won many awards and medals over the years. They are also affiliated with the Livonia Figure Skating Club, which is a member of the U.S. Figure Skating Association and offers various skating programs and coaching for all levels and ages.

I also learned that the Livonia High School Figure Skating Team consists of skaters from different high schools in Livonia, such as Stevenson, Churchill, and Franklin. They have a dedicated team of coaches who are experienced and qualified in figure skating. They practice regularly at the Eddie Edgar Ice Arena in Livonia and participate in district, regional, and state competitions.

Based on this information, I think that the Livonia High School Figure Skating Team deserves to be awarded varsity letters for their accomplishments and contributions to the school and the community. They have demonstrated excellence, sportsmanship, and teamwork in their sport, and they have represented Livonia with pride and honor. They have also shown dedication, discipline, and perseverance in pursuing their passion and goals. These are all qualities that are worthy of recognition and respect.

I support your goal of awarding varsity letters to the Livonia High School Figure Skating Team and I hope that you will succeed in your campaign. I think that by raising awareness you can make a positive difference and influence the decision-makers at our schools. We can also reach out to other stakeholders, such as parents, teachers, administrators, and alumni to gain more support and visibility for this cause.



I would hope that all the candidates running for the Livonia Board of Education would agree with this position of awarding Varsity Letters to our High School Figure Skating Team. If you need any help FridayMusings is willing to support this effort by these tremendous athletes.

This event will feature Mayor Brosnan detailing progress from the past year and share what is coming in the future for Livonia.

Councilman Robert Donovic becomes the first Livonia elected official to endorse in the November Presidential race

The following social media statement along with these two pictures were shared by Livonia Councilman Robert Donovic announcing that he was one of the speakers at the Saturday rally in Waterford for Donald Trump.

Donovic is the first Livonia elected official to actively endorse a candidate for President.

"It was an honor to speak at the President Donald J. Trump rally in Michigan yesterday. President Trump understands the American Dream that my dad came to America for better than any President in my lifetime. My dad came here as an Albanian immigrant with nothing, and now his son is speaking at a Presidential rally, that’s who Trump is. He understands the working class American family and fights harder to preserve it than anyone in Washington. We need to elect him again this November!"
