April 19, 2019
With Session over, many county government and Annapolis insiders will look ahead to MACo’s Summer Conference – the preeminent event for any and all involved in Maryland government. Nearly 3,000 individuals will gather in Ocean City on August 14-17 to discuss challenges and solutions in county governance. The 2019 theme, “Winds of Change,” will focus on the evolving nature of government service, exploring trends in digital service delivery, engagement with constituents, and the generational differences across all levels of the public and private sectors. The 250-booth exhibit hall is filling up quickly, sponsorships are flying off the shelves, and the sheer number of session proposals speaks volumes about the importance of this topic.
