Important News - BillMax 2020 Q4
We are pleased to announce our latest release. Here are some highlights:

  • Recurring Service Fees have been modified so they can be charged based on City, County, State, Country, Tax Region, or POP. To learn more, check out Recurring Service Fees. One Time Fees can also be limited by location. See how at One Time Fees.
  • Additional fields may be added to the POP or AP tables to capture unique information for your company. See Custom Field Definitions for further details.
  • An option on the Batch Processing Group to not create log files is available. It assumes that the Batch Process will create and manage its own log files.
  • Report Updates - Discounts are included in the Future Billings Report. If detail is selected for the Sales Report, Package/Service numbers are displayed in their own column.
  • LTE has been added to the infrastructure technologies.
  • Proration behaviors are inherited for recurring fees from the Service/Package.
  • POPS and FCC data were moved from Lists to separate POP and AP tables in our Q3 release. In Q4 the Technology setting is now part of the new AP table.
  • IIF file now handles the writeoffs of imported beginning balances.
  • Repairs have been made for reported issues.

Quick Tips
BillMax allows for a variety of fees: percentage based or flat rate, one time or recurring. Bill what your company needs.
At the end of June and December a copy of the database is saved to be used in generating the 477 report. Are all of your users geocoded so your company has the best data possible? Run Reports->Users Not Geocoded to verify.
