Bills Move Forward on Pro-Life Day!

Yesterday, we had a successful Pro-Life Day at the State Capitol! Two of our pro-life bills passed the State House and are headed to the Senate. We had about 70 people at the Capitol showing our love for moms and babies, with pregnancy centers filling the capacity of the Rotunda!

I'd like to introduce you to some of our legislative leaders at the Capitol on these bills.

Watch my interview from earlier this week with Reps. Lauren Ventrella and Julie Emerson about the Justice for Victims of Abortion Drug Dealers Act. Through this legislation, we are fighting the abortion industry's abortion pill machine! Yesterday, I was able to talk with Rep. Josh Carlson about this legislation, the Stop Coerced Abortion Act. We are so grateful to these bold pro-life leaders.

We are also excited about our Pro-Life Summit in Baton Rouge that is happening in just over TWO WEEKS!

Our Prayer Breakfast will kick off the Summit and will feature Attorney General Liz Murrill, Evangelical Bishop Dwight Pate, West Baton Rouge DA Tony Clayton, among others.

P.S. As we share below, we are one step closer to DEFUNDING Planned Parenthood! Email your Congressional Representatives and President Trump to finish the job!

Planned Parenthood (PP) just released their 2024 annual report. The numbers? They reported record-high abortions and, unsurprisingly, record high income paid for by taxpayers.

Their priority will always be abortion! Like an apex predator, PP is at the top of the abortion food chain. Not only are they the top abortion business accounting for 1/3 of our nation's abortions, but they kill enough babies to fill LSU's Tiger Stadium OVER 4X, EVERY YEAR!

Thankfully, the reconciliation bill in Congress, often referred to as the "one big beautiful bill," includes provisions to defund PP! We have been in communication with Speaker Mike Johnson and are grateful to him and Majority Leader Steve Scalise for keeping that in the bill. The bill still has a long way to go, but let's continue to pray and contact our representatives in D.C.!

Thanks to the support of generous pro-life donors, Mother's Day weekend we distributed 6,329 diapers, 178 packs of wipes, over 500 baby food containers, cans of formula, ointment, and more to New Orleans mothers.

The Northshore End of Year Pro-Life Fest will take place at Northlake Crisis Pregnancy Center in Covington. Students, join us for a fun pro-life evening featuring dinner and a a service project!
