Pocono Heritage Land Trust honors Edward Cramer with the “This Land is Your Land” Award.
More than 50 PHLT supporters gathered on May 4th at Water Gap Country Club to hold their annual meeting and celebrate recent organizational achievements, including the groundbreaking of the Brodhead Creek Heritage Center at the former Penn Hills golf course, now Stroud Township’s ForEvergreen Nature Preserve.
State Representative Representative Maureen Madden also presented Ed Cramer with a framed print by artist and PHLT board member Don Baylor. Baylor’s painting is of a pool on the Brodhead Creek, which will be named “Ed and Mary’s Pool” in honor of Cramer and his late wife Mary.
NEW! Pennsylvania Conserved Land Map
This new interactive GIS map by the Pennsylvania Land Trust Association identifies land across PA conserved by land trusts as well as local, state, and federal government bodies. The map contains data for each property including acreage, status of public access, year established, and managing organization. Users can search by place or address; filter by location, land trust, or easement holder; and much more.
Join John Motz from Mountain View Trail Serviceson NATIONAL TRAILS DAY for workshop geared towards men and women who want to know the basics about working with a chainsaw to clear / maintain trails, cleanup after storms, etc.

Come and enjoy the Wild & Scenic Delaware River with Pocono Heritage Land Trust volunteers on a two-day paddling experience in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area! Our overnight trip will be Saturday & Sunday, July 28 & 29 with a gourmet dinner Saturday evening.
