I was delighted to attend the Clinical Trials BC Symposium 2023: Approaches for Accessible Clinical Trials this week, which provided an invaluable platform for BC's clinical trials community to exchange insights and collaboratively explore strategies to advance our ecosystem and promote healthcare across the province. This year's focus on innovative approaches, technology, pathways, and regulatory initiatives reflects a shared commitment to improving the accessibility of clinical trials. Kudos to Alison Orth, Jean Smart, and Dr. Bev Holmes - and the whole team at Michael Smith Health Research BC and Clinical Trials BC - for hosting such an outstanding event! Also pictured are Darryl Knight of Providence Health Care, Robert Olson of UBC and BC Cancer, and Julia Bickford of Northern Health.

I also had the privilege this week of attending the grand opening of Incisive Genetics' new wet lab space! Congratulations to Pamela Wagner, Dr. Blaire Leavitt, Austin Hill and Board Chair Noel Hall - and the whole IG team - on this exciting development!
