In an update to the Patented Medicine Pricing Review Board's (PMPRB) attempt to regulate the price of Galderma’s off-patent drug product Differin, the Federal Court ruled that the PMPRB had exceeded its jurisdiction. Patentees can now take comfort in the Federal Court of Appeal’s common-sense conclusion that: “The Board does not regulate the pricing of unpatented medicines…” Read more.
