Government of Canada announced $10 million in additional funding to the Gairdner Foundation through the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), increasing the value of Gairdner’s flagship prize given to biomedical scientists. Read more.


Government of Canada announced a pledge of $675 million over the next five years (2026-2030), for Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance, to provide more vaccines to vulnerable people. Read more.
