Bioheat® Fuel Should Be a Part of the MA Clean Heat Standard

This MA Clean Heat Standard would rely heavily on electrification while not supporting other low carbon fuel sources, such as Bioheat® fuel. It would also raise taxes on your energy bills, among other consequences:

Bioheat® fuel to be removed from the Clean Energy solution.

More taxes on your heating oil, propane, and natural gas bills. But they aren't calling it a tax.

Their goal is to remove all reliable furnaces and boilers with unreliable heat pumps.

Take away your right to choose how you heat your home.

Unless Massachusetts residents voice their opposition, MassDEP will implement the policy THIS YEAR. Contact your state rep to tell them that a decision of this magnitude should not be decided by MassDEP alone.
