A recent publication in Cells, Ishikura, T. et al. (2023) demonstrated that nasal administration of adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) significantly enhances olfactory epithelium regeneration in vivo. The study suggests that ADSCs promote olfactory recovery by secreting nerve growth factor (NGF) and other neurotrophic factors, which are vital for cellular regeneration (as shown in Table 4). Biosensis NGF Rapid™ ELISA Kit (BEK-2213) was highlighted as a critical tool for accurately quantifying NGF levels. With its rapid detection capabilities and high specificity, the kit plays a key role in assessing NGF's influence on regenerative processes. |
