Bipartisan ‘Farm Prom’: A Celebration of American Agriculture

Inaugural tradition takes place Monday, Jan. 20, in Washington, D.C.


The Bipartisan Inaugural Ball: Celebrating American Agriculture is scheduled to take place on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, from 8:00 PM to 11:59 PM ET at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, D.C.

This unique event, also known as the "Farm Prom," is a tradition held in conjunction with most presidential inaugurations. It brings together and celebrates all sectors of American agriculture, attracting approximately 1,500 industry professionals from across the nation.

Musical artists: The District and Alejandro Escovedo are scheduled to perform.

The ball is not only a celebration but also supports charitable causes. Proceeds from the event will benefit the National 4-H Council and D.C. Central Kitchen.

Tickets for the event are available in two categories: (1) VIP Ticket: $1,133 and (2) General Admission: $568.

The dress code for the event is black tie, which is why this analyst is not going….

Of note: The ball qualifies as a "Widely Attended Event" under House and Senate Ethics guidelines, allowing Members of Congress and staff to attend.
