A Word from the Director

Dear Birch Bay,

As you are well aware Ballots for the Birch Bay Library LCFA have arrived.
Ballots are due by February 8th, 2022. You can turn your ballots into the box at the North County Fire & Rescue Station at 4581 Birch Bay-Lynden Rd.

If you voted yes for this back in November 2021 - Thank You! That effort fell short by only 26 votes. The measure must pass with a 60% supermajority. Every vote matters!

By voting for the Birch Bay Library Capital Facility Area you will be bringing an excellent amenity to our community, one that benefits people of all ages, one that will become the pride of Birch Bay!

As a parent I imagine bringing my little ones to library story times, riding bikes to select books together as a family, and enjoying the Birch Bay shoreline all in the same trip. I look forward to the staff who can help my kids do research for homework assignments and recommend great books and movies that the whole family can enjoy.

For a modest cost ($3.20 per month for the median Birch Bay household) you can build a library that your family will enjoy for generations.

Please return your ballots by February 8th, and encourage all your Birch Bay friends, relatives, and neighbors to do the same!

Thank you!
