Join Naturalist Steve Hale from Open World Explorers for a two-hour bird walk in Benson Park! Steve Hale holds university degrees in marine biology, evolutionary biology, and ecology.
Meet at the entrance by the Benson Park parking lot before 6 pm when the walk will begin. Bring binoculars if you have them and/or a camera with a zoom lens for optimum viewing. Rain Date: May 16, 6-8PM

Make a Stained Glass Mosaic Flower Pot

Join stained glass artist Leslie Doherty from Ways of Color to decorate a flowerpot with stained glass mosaic tiles. The library is subsidizing part of the materials cost for this workshop. Participants will pay a $15 materials fee toward the cost of this project.
Please add your name to the waiting list if this program is full. We usually have cancellations and no-shows so waiting list people often get to participate.

Curious Kids: Transportation

Drop-in preschool sensory playtime. For ages 2-5.
Stop by between 10:00 and 11:00 to participate in three or more centers. Only 10 people allowed in the room at a time. We will rotate participants on a first come, first served basis. Most children spend about 15 minutes trying the sensory centers.
Registration required. A caregiver should accompany the child or children. Please indicate the number in your party (including infants).

Join Ms. Tanya at Alvirne Farm for songs, farm stories, and a tour of the working farm at Alvirne High School!
Meet near the lilac bushes in front of the red barn. Park in the Wilbur H. Palmer CTE Center parking lot across from the Hills House. When that lot is full, park in the student lot behind the new CTE Center and use the sidewalk along the CTE driveway to walk to the barn.
In case of rain, storytime will take place as usual at Rodgers Memorial Library. Raindate for the storytime at Alvirne Farm is May 17th.
