Message from President
 Bonnie Chapman

Greetings Soroptimists,

What happens to a frog's car when it breaks down?

It gets toad away!

This joke seemed appropriate this week as a way to let you know, if you happen to see my duck taped car driving around town...it wasn't me that did it!! Our 19 year old son took my car to Tahoe last weekend in the thick of the storm and had two fender benders in one day. Thankfully, no one was hurt but my car is limping along and will be headed for a major repair job. Ugh!

This week we mark 89 years of SI Chico with pride. We will celebrate well as we always do. I hope to see many of you at lunch on Wednesday where the Events Committee has some fun in store and then further fun awaits at our Friday night PAR-TAY!

Thanks to all of you who joined in on our very well attended and super fun After Hours with Cali'Flour Foods at New Earth Market. That was AWESOME, right?!

It's another great week to be a Soroptimist!

With Gratitude,
Soroptimist International of Chico

SI Chico
Party

Join us this week to celebrate our 89th birthday celebration.  Our theme this year is 1920's 1930's speakeasy, think flapper girls and zoot suits.

Come join the fun this Wednesday and then continue the fun this Friday at TJ Farms, see invitation in this E-blast.

See you there,
