254 Fulton Street
5:00 pm: Hors d'oeuvres & wine ticket bar ($5/glass)

On Thursday, March 28th, the Greater Grand Rapids Women's History Council is throwing a party! We will celebrate the vision of our founding members, the accomplishments of our first 25 years, and our plans for the next. We'll empty our cupboards of materials sporting our first logo, enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres and--for new and renewing members--a complimentary glass of wine! Please let us know you're coming at or 616-454-2425

Last year: Gloria Lara, director of Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore, with GGRWHC friends Margie Gage & Marta Petter

In a brief program we will shine a light on the research that underlies all we do and tell you how we aim to share our materials worldwide. Soon we will institute Women's History Wednesdays and launch a (badly needed!) new website. Please join the effort: Share ideas for research and events, march on July 4th to throw out information (and candy), and subscribe for our online newsletter: ( See you on the 28th!

Please remain or become part of the effort during the next 25 years!
Tell us that you're coming to the party: or 616-454-2425. See you there!

GGRWHC Board Meetings

Board meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm at the Vanderveen Center for the Book at the Grand Rapids Public Library. If you have suggestions for programs, oral histories or other items, please email us at or plan to attend a meeting.
