Greetings!

We recently sent a letter to the families of our nearby Catholic grade schools as we celebrate Catholic Schools Week, to thank them for their investment in Catholic education. You can read that letter at this link .

Along with our dedicated faculty and staff, committed Board of Directors, and current students and parents, our successful alumni play a central role in the continued growth and advancement of Bishop Canevin High School. As neighbors, parishioners, and community members closely connected with Bishop Canevin, we are often asked about the effect regionalization and mergers have on our future, especially as recent news hits close to home. The truth remains that our school is viable and extremely well positioned for present and future success in large part because of the continued generosity of our alumni and the high quality and character of the members of our community who are resolutely focused on continuing to serve our community. Our collective efforts ensure that Bishop Canevin remains:

  • Committed and continues to make great strides in being an affordable option for families
  • Dedicated to upgrading our educational spaces to a 21st century learning environment that our students and their families deserve
  • Steadfast in our mission, values, and environment are timeless and create an excellent foundation academically, socially, and spiritually for our students

Catholic Schools Week at Bishop Canevin is more meaningful this year. We are celebrating our 60th Anniversary and continue to live our mission of providing a Jesuit-inspired education to our future leaders that is steeped in the ideals of honor, integrity, respect and responsibility!

Sincerely,

Michael Joyce
