For the last sixty years, Bishop Canevin students have distinguished themselves in the classroom and the community. Through a recent targeted marketing campaign that employed effective enrollment strategies, many new families throughout Allegheny and Washington Counties have taken note of the values and benefits of a Bishop Canevin in-person school experience. That interest has prompted a nearly 20% increase in the freshmen class alone, leading to an overall 6% increase in enrollment throughout the whole school.

The efforts of countless stakeholders have placed us in this position. Our current families continue to be wonderful spokespersons for the school and have sacrificed to prioritize Catholic education, despite these challenging economic times.

Our dedicated and talented faculty continue to challenge, inspire and develop students sitting in front of them and virtually. Our alumni are outstanding in their careers, while our current study body aspires to elevate that Bishop Canevin standard of excellence in their own right.
We certainly should share a sense of pride in what has been accomplished, but many challenges remain. Like many other private and public educational institutions, the pandemic has affected our ability to host many of our in-person fundraising events and encouraged us to creatively adapt all Canevin activities and experiences.

Therefore, Bishop Canevin is launching its first-ever Giving Day on Tuesday, Oct. 20. The Crusader community greatly appreciates whatever financial support you may provide. Your assistance is also welcome in promoting the event to your friends, family members, fellow alumni, business contacts, and benefactors. This is a special opportunity to assist current students while ensuring and increasing the continued base of support in spreading the positive and unique experiences offered by Bishop Canevin High School.
