Dear Parents,
From December 17-20, students in grades 9 - 12 will take their final exams in various classes. Prior to taking these finals, students will spend time reviewing course requirements, examining study guides, and participating in study sessions offered by classroom teachers. Continue reading here...
Important Graduation Information for Seniors
All seniors will be receiving a graduation items order form and packet from Joel Stacey during the Seminar C meeting this Friday, Dec. 6 . Although  no purchase is necessary , ALL SENIORS MUST RETURN A FORM WITH HEIGHT AND WEIGHT and can choose to purchase additional items if desired. Joel Stacey will be in the cafeteria during all lunches to collect order forms on Wednesday, Dec. 11, and in the main lobby after school until 7 p.m.
Attention Freshman Parents
Christian Service Agreement Forms due tomorrow
Freshmen Christian Service Agreement Forms are due Thursday, Dec. 5 to Seminar A teachers. The Christian Service Agreement Form can be found here . All other information can be found here . Check back here in the coming weeks for a four part sequence with more information regarding the new Christian Service rollout outlining the next three years.
Senior Directed One Acts
Saturday, Dec. 7
This is an opportunity for our senior theatre students to shine! Senior Director One Acts is a collection of short plays selected and directed by BCHS seniors on Saturday, Dec. 7, in the Kyle Guyton Theatre (Room 102). Performance times are at 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. Each One Act Play will be performed during each show. Click here to purchase tickets. One Acts often sell out, so secure your seat now! PSAT Information
Students who took the PSAT this Fall will be able to view their PSAT scores starting December 10 by logging in to their College Board accounts. Students have been instructed to create their College Board accounts by following the directions in the School Counseling Canvas course. Counselors will be visiting classrooms in January to review various opportunities with students. Summer Field Studies 2020
Current Bishop Chatard juniors and seniors are invited to join students from Roncalli and Cardinal Ritter for Summer Field Studies 2020: one part academics, one part adventure, one part retreat. Christmas on Crittenden

Bishop Chatard alumni and community members will gather at BCHS to celebrate with their children for  Christmas on Crittenden  on Friday, Dec. 6, from 6 - 8 p.m. For more information on the event, click here or RSVP here.
Diaper Drive for the Women's Care Center
Babies Need Diapers! BCHS will hold a Diaper Drive from Dec. 9 - 13. The Women's Care Center of Indianapolis provides free confidential counseling, support and education to women facing unplanned pregnancies. At this time of year, they are especially in need of diapers of all sizes. Donations of Diapers can be dropped off in the Campus Ministry office. 
BCHS Christmas Concert
A Christmas Concert featuring all ensembles will be held on Friday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. in the varsity gym. In this busy time of the year, it's ever-so easy to lose sight of the reason for this season. We invite you to take a break from all the "hustle and bustle," and bring your family to witness our BCHS musicians deliver that reason - the sound of Christmas in song! Admission is free and refreshments will be available.
Alumni Lunch Presentation
Students are invited to visit with Mary Claire Fagan '15, a pediatric nurse in the Intensive Care Unit of Riley Hospital for Children, on Dec. 11 during all lunch periods. A BCHS El Salvador Immersion Fundraiser
Join Carol Wagner in the BCHS cafeteria for a wood sign workshop on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 3 p.m. to raise money for the 2020 El Salvador Immersion Trip. Those who attend will be guided to make a customized piece of art, enjoy light refreshments and celebrate fellowship while supporting our students. Cost is $50 and Cash/Check/Paypal are accepted. Parents of Class of 2020 graduates may now purchase "Senior Congratulations" ads (often referred to as the baby ads) to run in the BCHS yearbook. The sale ends on Dec. 3 and all orders will be available before Christmas (unless requested size is not available). Pickup will be at BCHS -- those dates will be emailed to all those who submit orders.

Community News
St. John's presents the 2019 Christkindl Village
St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in downtown Indy is hosting the 8th annual Christkindl Village on December 12 - 15. The Christkindl Village is located at St. John Catholic Church (126 W. Georgia St.) on the west block of Georgia Street, in St. John's parking lot and in the old Pan Am Arena on Georgia Street. All are welcome! Admission is free and open to the public. Activities are indoors or inside heated tents.

At the festival there will be a live animal nativity, alpine slide for kids and adults, selfies with St. Nick, kid's activities including ornament making, great German foods, beer and gluhwein garden, and hand-crafted gifts from market vendors. There are also special events all weekend long including Sacred Music Festivals on Friday and Saturday evenings, Eucharistic Procession on Saturday evening, and Family Day on Sunday with special events for kids. New this year: Christmas Trivia Night on Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m. Put together a team and compete! More information is available at  www.stjohnsindy.org/village .
