PANDEMIC BONUS

JNESO HAS REQUESTED INFORMATION FROM MANAGEMENT ABOUT THE INCREASE IN COVID PATIENTS AT THE FACILITY.

A Pandemic Bonus was bargained into your new contract. If the facility has a census count of 15% or more CoVid + patients, you will receive Pandemic Bonus Pay.

ARTICLE 36: PANDEMIC BONUS (Page 36 of your new contract)

1. The $350 Pandemic Bonus for 10 shifts worked in a pay period. This Bonus will be implemented in crisis situations upon mutual agreement of JNESO and Bishop McCarthy, unless there is 15% or more of confirmed positive cases of the in-house census, then the bonus(s) will be implemented. 2. Bishop McCarthy will offer up to $150 per additional shift. This bonus will be in addition to any overtime pay that the employee is entitled to. 3. For any nurse that works on a positive unit during an infectious disease pandemic they will receive $3 an hour differential.
