Eagle Painting Donated to BWHS |
Mike '58 and Sharon Caulkins '63 Meyer donated a beautiful oil painting of an Eagle to their alma mater.
The Meyers found this special artwork at a gallery while spending time in sunny Florida and presented it to Principal Chris Campbell '77 and Alumni Director Scott Manahan.
Thank you
Mike and Sharon, your gift has certainly found a home at Bishop Watterson!
The Alumni Department would like to apologize for the incorrect name that was printed in the last issue of Eagle Extra.

Golfer Wearing Hats Designed by Alumnus
Going to or watching the Memorial Tournament this week? Keep an eye on defending champion Jason Dufner's hats. They are the result of work by BWHS Class of 2005 members Jarvis Woodson and Kevin Iannarino. Woodson, who works for local commercial real estate company MSF, contacted Dufner's agent with the idea for Iannarino to design hats for this week. Iannarino, a graphic designer for LBrands in Columbus, came up with "Ohio Country Club," "Save the Crew" and "Duf Daddy" designs.

In 2009, former Bishop Watterson High School teacher and alumna, Jane Jacquemin-Clark, (Mrs. J-C) class of 1968, and her husband Kevin Clark, opened their home and hearts to cancer patients and their families living outside Columbus, Ohio. What started as overnight stays has expanded to extended lodging, meals, transportation assistance and a "safe port in the storm that is cancer."
Throughout the journey and growth of Hope Hollow, the Bishop Watterson community has continued in the tradition of "service above self" by providing overwhelming support to Hope Hollow. Volunteers at Hope Hollow include many members of the BWHS community including Jane Jacquemin-Clark (Class of 1968 and faculty member from 1977-2015), Marian Hutson, (former Principal and faculty member from 1977-2016), alumni including Mary Polis King (Class of 1963), Sister Margie Davis, O.P. (Class of 1966), Pat Rosmarin (Class of 1979), Jen Bernard Rasor (Class of 1981), Marri McGouldrick Petrucci (Class of 1982), Jason Janoski (Class of 1982), Mandy Thomas Fosco (Class of 1983), Liz Thomas O'Dorisio (Class of 1987), Kelly Lombardo Matthews (Class of 2003 and faculty member from 2015- present), Mary McClure Moore (Class of 2003), Michelle Shubitowski (faculty member from 2004-2018), Will and Marilyn Reiss (faculty 2006 -present).
Please help us to continue giving cancer patients hope on their journey by attending the second annual
"A Garden Party" fundraiser, June 24, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. on the beautiful grounds of Pinnacle Golf Club.
For questions or more information, please email Event Chair Mary McClure Moore, Class of 2003, at
