DOK Meeting

The DOK is celebrating Women's Heart Health month with a special speaker for Thursday, February 19th at 10:30, renowned cardiologist Dr. Christina Paruthi. All parishoners and friends are invited.

DOK - Who Are We?

Have you ever wondered who the Daughters of the King are and what we do? Let me introduce you.

Daughters of the King is an Order founded on prayer, service, and evangelism. At St. Dunstan’s, our primary purpose is to serve our chaplain, Fr. Roman, and to support the church in many ways.

One of our key ministries is the DOK Prayer Chain, through which we work with Pastoral Care to send out confidential prayer requests each day. Many of you have been prayed for through this ministry, and it is an honor to pray for each of you.

Our main service is providing funeral receptions, a ministry that began in the late 1980s when a Daughter’s husband died and we wanted to do something special for the family. It continues today with a full committee to meet these needs, and it is truly a true labor of love for all of us. We also support the Jr. DOK, assisting with their projects and needs whenever we can. (these girls are just too smart for some of us, but we try to assist).

So, if you’ve ever wondered who we are (and no, we’re not a secret society!), I hope this helps.

We are here to serve you and to pray for and with you.

For His Sake,

Bonnie Ferguson, President

Are you called? If interested in becoming a Daughter of the King, please email Helen Gilbert helen7250@att.net or Bonnie Ferguson bonniebabcock@sbcglobal.net. An Orientation will be held after the DOK meeting on Feb.19.

COMPLETED SACRISTY

We officially have a beautiful new Sacristy in the Parish Hall for our Spanish Service! So exciting to see our Capital Campaign at work!

YOUTH MINISTRY

Youth Confirmation Class

Beginning either 2/15 or 2/19, baptized youth grades 8-12 are invited to join one of the two youth confirmation classes being offered by Sandy Jones (in person on Sunday mornings or via zoom on Thursday evenings). Confirmations will happen when the Bishop visits St. Dunstan’s in May. Please let Sandy know if you wish to participate by Febrary 1 sjones@saintdunstans.org

Youth Stockholder Dinner

The youth would like to invite all the generous supporters of youth ministries to the annual Stockholder Supper on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the Price Fellowship Hall. The food will be made by parents of the youth and served by the youth themselves. You will also have the opportunity to hear youth speak about the impact that Camp has made in their faith development! Please RSVP to sjones@saintdunstans.org by February 15.
