GROWING IN COMMUNITY

Meal Train

If you would like to become a part of a Meal Train for Mitch and Cathy LeJeune, please let Jerre Bergeron know through email jbergeron@saintdunstans.org

Please give Jerre your name, email address and phone number. We will bring meals to the LeJeune’s over the next couple of months in order to support them. You could cook a meal for them, bring a meal from a restaurant to them, or give them a gift card for a meal. They do not have allergies that you need to work around. Thanks!

The St. Dunstan’s Vestry gathered at Camp Allen this past weekend for our annual retreat. Twelve dedicated individuals took time away from family and other commitments to focus on making our church a better place. Time was set aside for spiritual development, morning prayer, Bible study, building friendships and a Vestry meeting.

The Vestry represents you, supports the mission of St. Dunstan’s (to unite all people with the love of God), and prays for God’s guidance as we carry out our work. Every Sunday, two Vestry members are available to welcome newcomers, ensure services go smoothly, walk the campus, and join in fellowship. We meet monthly and most Vestry members extend time throughout the month following up with projects and serving the church through ministry. Reach out to any Vestry member with questions, recommendations, or just connection.

Soon a new playground will be coming to the courtyard with a dedication later this Spring. We are moving ahead with plans for the “back forty” to be used by a soccer organization. A new entrance off Stuebner Arline, a new commercial kitchen, new flowing in the Nave, and many other improvements are coming to enhance worship and fellowship.

My husband, Richard, says “We don’t build churches and buildings for ourselves, but as a way to bring people to meet the Lord.” He is right! This is the perfect time to invite others to St. Dunstan’s.

Faithfully,

Jodie Leach, Senior Warden
