Micro Images of the Week

Cysts lined by cuboidal cells containing eosinophilic secretions with surrounding fibrosis.



The small papillary growth is lined by slightly atypical mesothelial cells (H&E, 200x).


Phyllodes tumor: atypia of the epithelial cells is readily apparent and stromal background is malignant. At low power, the anastomosing of glands is readily appreciated.
