March into your Library!

Did you know that March is National Reading Month? It’s the perfect time to dust off your "To-Be-Read" pile, revive your reading habits, and celebrate the transformative power of a great story.

Beyond the joy of getting lost in a book, reading is a workout for your mind. Regular reading is proven to:

  • Boost brain connectivity and memory.
  • Expand your vocabulary and communication skills.
  • Reduce stress: A University of Sussex study found just six minutes of reading can lower stress levels by 68%!
  • Spark imagination and empathy.

Ready to turn the page? Try setting a reading goal for the month, creating a "reading nook" at home, or exploring a new genre with your kids.

Visit us this month! Whether you prefer the smell of a physical book, the convenience of an e-reader, or the immersion of an audiobook, we have something for you. Our librarians love playing "book matchmaker" and are ready to help you find your next favorite read.
